‘Self-Love’, this is one of the most important tool in your overall development and attaining a higher level of mental peace and satisfaction. As the word suggests, it is all about loving yourself. When I say loving yourself, I don’t mean just pampering yourself with gifts, or some extra hour of sleep, but rather the contrary. I am asking to love yourself so deeply that you can be brutally honest with yourself. Like: –
- Disciplining yourself to achieve your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals in regards to your health, career, relationships, and overall development.
- Saying ‘NO’ to people, places, and situations that have negative impact on you, physically or mentally.
- Training your mind to look at the bigger picture than the small failures or upsets so you could stay on track with motivation to become inspirational.
- Spending time with yourself by doing something that you love, every week. Be it spending more time with family, friends, reading, creating, and the list goes on.
- Accepting when you’re wrong and apologizing to the grieving person or yourself.
- Setting a higher standard for yourself and maintaining that standard yourself as one led by example.
- Lastly, letting yourself know that YOU ARE LOVED.
NOW GO BE YOUR OWN HERO.
