   Bawra Dil!

By Roy

Bawra is dil ne mere
Hai kuch ankahe khwaab dekhe
Apni tukdo ko samete hue
Adhuri Azadi ki taraf badhe

Sarphira ye, is khoye man se puche
“Chal lega Kya tu sath?
Kar sakega mujpe itna viswas?”

Manchala man to tehra manchala
Kaun hi aj tak isko samja
Bol pada is naadan di se
” Hai himaat to akele chal le!
Jo tu phunch saka manzil tak…
Dastak deta hua phunchunga tujh tak”

    • The poem is based on similar lines…I will add a summary here for you…

“Broken pieces of heart seek again for freedom so that it can actualize its incomplete dreams…The heart asks the mind if the mind can trust the heart again and walk in sync with it. Yet the mind has never followed anyone’s command…no one has ever been able to understand it completely. It just says to the heart that if the heart is so much determined to reach its destiny, then the mind will automatically come following it…”

The poem is just an indication to show how much we want our heart and mind to work in sync and once we are able to achieve it, we make wonders…

Thanks Llyod for sharing ur views…

      Regards
      Roy
