Title: RELICS OF RAJASTHAN
“Photography to me is a feeling. It’s all about the way you see the world. . All you need is to explore the beauty of ordinary to make it extraordinary. For me it is an art. The pictures that connect with you and provide a reason to be happy. Every picture has a story, and I am here creating one”
Pursuing fashion designing at NIFT, Delhi, Palak Gupta is a stupendous artist. She loves traveling as much as she loves art. Her keen interest in painting and aesthetic appreciation of culture has rendered her a budding photographer. Though amidst the busy schedule, Palak never misses an opportunity to travel and explore new places.
Her photographs, though ordinary, are unadulterated. The simplest lifestyle holds the unraveled beauty. Once known as the land of Monarch, Rajasthan has many arcane beauties to uncover.
So dear readers, we invite you to see the world through Palak’s lenses as she takes you through the streets of Rajasthan.
The shrubs and thorns and a whiff of air,
Cast at me a quandary stare.
As I follow stalwart steps to you
“The apex touching the hue of day,
Have little regards for rocks that underneath lay”
“Among these flight of steps, amiss labyrinth.
I knock each door to find you therein”
“The kings that went to fetch me far,
never returned without a scar,
depicted in this mural loud,
there are things that centuries shroud”
“In those eyes I see some hope perspire,
a hope that fumes brighter than her kindled fire.”
“Your dilapidated house needs no lock,
for when I come it will open at a knock.”
“The Auburn walls of vestigial pile,
Upon its sights my thoughts reconcile
Of past that faded and oaths defiled”
“BLESSED ARE THE CURIOUS FOR THEY SHALL HAVE ADVENTURES”
