I breath in the last puff from the cigarette as I dwell,
I dwell on the past,
I dwell on the present,
I dwell on the future.
But I dwell.

I see a bright shining star in the night sky,
I ask it why?
Why does it shine the brightest?
Why does it burn itself to give the light?
I ask the BIG why?

It smiled down at me with fire in its eyes,
ask me to come closer while I fly.
Ask me to rise up to the sky.
Ask me to write down the biggest lies.
Ask me to take a leap of faith to fly.

I came closer to listen to its wisdom,
It said,
I shine the brightest because that’s who I am.
I burn myself for the people who depend on me.
It said.

I smiled as I realize it’s selfless love,
I smiled as I realized that it was me.
I smiled as I saw myself in its eyes.
I smile as I became the shining star.
