Genre: Poetry

I was standing,
In front of the mirror,
Naked,
Not my body,
But this time my soul.

I was in a state,
To answer honestly,
Anything you’d ask,
I would have told you the whole.

I was in a mood,
To perform anything you would like,
Be it shaving my hair,
Or be it jumping in a big hole.

Standing beside me just like a pole.

And unable to stop you,
My heart started to feel like a burning coal.

You went away,
But your voice did not,
And those beautiful words,
I heard in my head,
Became my ONLY goal…
